Universal Sports and Recreational Club (also referred to simply as "Universal Club") was formed in 2002. Universal Club is a not-for-profit organization, committed to foster and promote the game of cricket and other sports in Ontario. It was conceived with the express intention of affording a chance for its members to play and enjoy various sports along with recreational and social activites.
Though the primary activity of the club presently revolves around cricket, there is a “social” aspect to the club as well. As such, the club doesn’t restrict itself to being a “sports club”. Its social activities are tailored in a way that the families of the club’s members are included in its activities.
